John Caille L.C., your privacy and the protection of your sensitive information are central to our mission. We handle all client informationpersonal, financial, operational, and investigative with the highest level of confidentiality and security.
Our internal standards follow and exceed the confidentiality requirements described in our Professional Services and Representation Agreement, including strict non-disclosure, secure document handling, and multi-layered information safeguards .
2. Information We Collect
We collect information only as necessary to provide forensic investigative, intelligence, and strategic services. This may include:
Personal contact information
Case-related documents, evidence, and communications
Digital records, OSINT-derived data, and research materials
Information voluntarily provided by you during intake or engagement
Information gathered during lawful investigative activities
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.
3. How Your Information Is Used
Information is used solely for:
Forensic analysis and evidence reconstruction
Intelligence gathering, risk assessment, and due diligence
Strategic consultation and negotiations
Communications on your behalf as authorized
Preparation of reports, summaries, or documentation
Case strategy development and investigative support
All usage is confined to lawful, non-legal services as outlined in your agreement with us.
4. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

All client information is strictly confidential.
We will never disclose your information without your express written permission except where required by law.
Our Agreement mandates:
Confidential communications
Non-disclosure of client information to third parties
Secure storage with physical and electronic safeguards
Authorized-purpose restrictions
Protection of all client materials and work product
These commitments reflect sections 7.1–7.4 of the Agreement, including confidentiality, non-disclosure, secure retention, and controlled disposal of records .
NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements)
In addition to contractual confidentiality, John Caille L.C. utilizes internal and external NDAs for:
Sensitive investigative matters
High-stakes corporate or civil disputes
Proprietary intelligence methodologies
Cases involving personal, financial, or reputational risk
You may request a standalone NDA at any time. Most engagements already include NDA-level confidentiality protections.
5. Information Security
We maintain strict security protocols for all client data, including:
Encrypted digital storage
Segmented access controls
Secure device and network infrastructure
Protected physical records
Controlled communication channels
Secure disposal of documents after the statutory retention period
As stated in the Agreement, records are retained for seven (7) years and destroyed using secure, industry-standard methods to prevent unauthorized access .
6. Sharing of Information
We do not share your information except:
With your explicit written authorization, or
When legally required to comply with a court order or statute.
Even in legally compelled circumstances, we provide notice whenever possible prior to disclosure.
We may coordinate with your legal counsel at your direction, and only within the non-legal scope allowed by Wisconsin Statute § 757.30 .
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Request copies of records or work product
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of information where permitted
Request clarification of how your data is used
Limit communication channels or storage preferences
We honor all reasonable requests consistent with security and legal requirements.
8. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin & State of Illinois, and consistent with the governing-law provision of your Agreement .
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will appear on this page with an updated effective date.
